Currently in the process of transcribing a short story I wrote at work on breaks and in-between machine cycles. As you can see, it got rather fucked up. Forgot to take the mini notebook out of my pocket and it got washed! I was horrified when I realized this happened, as the story is rather good and I even planned on illustrating it. I threw it in the trash. Luckily, I thought better of it and started drying it out (low heat in the oven for about a half hour). So far, so good as far as being able to read the washed and damaged print.
It's called "Field Trip" and it's about a hiker who gets his body high Jacked by an alien creature, which allows him to see a very different nature than the one he is used to seeing. It's going to be presented as a bestiary, as the man illustrates and describes each creature he encounters. But, when the creatures start becoming beasts, will he make it through the hike alive?
So, I'll be working on this along with a million other things! Decided to review every horror movie made in the 80s, my favorite genre. No big deal, should be easy... first movie is going to be The Alien Dead or Alligator, which ever flick ships to me first.
